1. The petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 616/2021 of Police Station Laxmi Nagar for offence under Section 4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act on the basis of mediation settlement dated 17.01.2026 between the petitioner and the respondent no. 2 recorded at Delhi Mediation Centre Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

2. On being pointed out that the offence alleged against the petitioner is a social offence and under a special statute, learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this petition. However, it is contended that the allegations in the impugned FIR are untruthful.

3. As requested, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
