1. Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 99/2020 of PS Shahbad Dairy for offence under Section 498A/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioner.
2. After last hearing, an unusually long status report was filed by SHO, PS S. B. Dairy.
3. Today, respondent no.2 is present in person and in response to a specific query, submits that the allegations mentioned in the FIR are truthful.
4. In view of these circumstances, learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this petition.
5. As requested, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
