1. Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 613/2022 of Police Station Dayalpur, Delhi for offence under Section 308/323/427/455/506 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no. 2) has settled the disputes with the petitioner.

2. At the outset, learned APP on instruction of IO/SI Shiv Dayal and ASI Hem Raj submits that trial has already commenced and proceeded substantially, in which the present respondent no. 2 has already deposed. Learned APP has also referred to the list of dates filed in the petition, as per GIRISH KATHPALIA Digitally signed by GIRISH KATHPALIA DN: c=IN, o=HIGH COURT OF DELHI, 2.5.4.20=8401dd889b27a77b2f65ffffe4afec45569af396 2c6fb4835d435f97626cacca, ou=HIGH COURT OF DELHI,CID - 7047638, postalCode=110003, st=Delhi, serialNumber=d3e86796451ec45c07b5d15570996b40 f80cbd2eee60402c487965ff801e26fa, cn=GIRISH KATHPALIA Date: 2026.08.17 17:27:28 +05'30' Digitally Signed By:RAHUL YADAV Signing Date:17.08.2026 17:48:31 Signature Not Verified

3. In view of legal position described by the Supreme in the case of Narinder Singh & Ors vs State of Punjab & Anr., (2014) 6 SCC 466, the impugned FIR cannot be quashed invoking inherent powers of this Court, because trial as mentioned above has already proceeded ahead.

4. Therefore, the petition is dismissed.
