1. This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.

2. The challenge in this petition is to the notice dated 29th July, 2026, issued by the GNCTD seeking to take possession of various portions of land which were acquired in 1991 pursuant to an Award No. 2/1998-99.

3. The Petitioners claim to be in possession of some parts of the land for which the notice dated 29th July, 2026 has been issued.

4. The Court notices that the Award No. 2/1998-99 is of the year 1991, This is a digitally signed order. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 18/08/2026 at 11:56:19

however, the Agreement to Sell, GPA etc. have all been executed subsequent to the award i.e. in 2015, 2018 and 2023 etc.

5. Such documents would be of no avail to protect the Petitioners, inasmuch as the land having already been acquired and the purported purchase being after the acquisition, the Petitioners were well aware of the acquisition and cannot raise a grievance thereto.

6. At this stage, ld. counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition.

7. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. PRATHIBA M. SINGH, J. VIKAS MAHAJAN, J.
