Neither the affidavit-in-reply, as sought by the petitioners has been filed, despite six consecutive opportunities having been granted for filing the same.
Mr. R. Koyu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. T. Tagum, learned Standing Counsel for the Health and Family Welfare Department, as well as Mr. S. Tapin, learned Senior Government Advocate for the State respondents, are present.
Having considered that despite granting repeated opportunities, no affidavit-in-reply has been filed and the petitioners are not represented today, we are of the view that the petitioners are no longer interested in pursuing the matter.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
