ORDER

18.08.2026 [Budi Habung, J] Heard Mr. G. Jini, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. T. Jini, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.

2. This application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 1703 days in preferring the connected appeal against the impugned judgment and order dated 23.12.2021 passed by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Khonsa in Khonsa Sessions Case No. 05/2021.

3. Having considered the explanations provided in the application, this Court is satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay in filing the appeal within the limitation period.
