Date : 28.07.2026 (Kardak Ete, J.) Heard Mr. T. Tatak, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. P. Yobin, petitioner in person/opposite party No.1; Mr. N. Ratan, learned Addl. Advocate General for the State respondents; Ms. Y. Gao, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. M. Kato, learned Dy.S.G.I. and Ms. N. Anju, learned counsel for the APPSC.
2. This is an application seeking impleadment in the connected PIL No. 10 of 2025 as interveners.
3. The connected PIL has been filed by the opposite party No. 1 seeking protection and enforcement of their rights, including seeking a direction for the issuance of Schedule Tribe certificates to the Yobin Tribe in the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
4. The applicants, 13 (thirteen) in number, claim to have knowledge of and involvement in the issues affecting the Yobin community and would assist the
Court in the determination of the matter. Therefore, they pray for impleadment as interveners.
5. Having considered that the applicants appears to be the necessary parties to intervene in the matter, as the grievance raised in the connected PIL pertains to the Schedule Tribe status of the Yobin community, and considering that the parties have no objection for allowing the applicants as interveners, we deem it appropriate to allow this application.
