ORDER

15.06.2026 Heard Mr. M. Kato, learned counsel for the applicant/election petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. Rakshap, learned counsel for the respondent/returned candidate.

2. By filing the present application under Order XVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the applicant seeks an adjournment of the matter on behalf of the election petitioner/applicant.

3. Mr. Rakshap, learned counsel appearing for the respondent/returned candidate, has raised no objection to the prayer made in the application.

4. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the grounds stated in paragraph 3 of the application, this Court is of the view that a short adjournment would meet the ends of justice.
