selected for appointment to the post of Principal of Mahur Higher Secondary School, Mahur, Dima Hasao, Assam. It is submitted that because of the interim order passed by the Court on 14.11.2025, the selection process initiated vide notification dated 27.11.2024 was directed that final consideration shall not be given to the selection process. Thereafter the Department had issued the appointment order to the present applicant. However, upon being made aware on the interim order passed by the Court, the same was revoked until further order, by issuing separate order dated 11th September, 2026. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is a necessary party, who ought to have been impleaded by the petitioner in the writ petition, being WP(C) No. 5932/2025. Since the applicant not been impleaded, the present application has been filed. Mr. M. Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner/ opposite party does not object to the prayer for being impleaded as party respondent. Mr. C. Sharma, learned Standing Counsel, Dima Hasao, also does not object to the prayer made. Considering the same, this Interlocutory Application stands allowed and disposed of. Accordingly, the applicant, namely Sri Partha Sarathi Das, Assistant Teacher (Graduate) of Mahur Higher Secondary School, Mahur in the District of Dima-Hasao, Assam, is directed to be impleaded as party Respondent No. 7 in WP(C) No. 5932/2025.

Petitioner will now file amended cause title before the Registry within a period of 2 (two) weeks from today.
