The Insurance Company/applicant is aggrieved by the judgment and award dated 23.06.2026, passed by the learned Member, MACT, Golaghat, Assam in connection with MAC Case No.84/2019. The learned counsel for the Insurance Company has submitted that the vehicle insured by the Company was not involved in the accident. It is submitted that the Insurance Company/applicant has a good case. A prayer has been made to stay the judgment and award dated 23.06.2026, passed by the learned Member, MACT, Golaghat, Assam in connection with MAC Case No.84/2019. After considering the submission on behalf of the Insurance Company, the operation of judgment and award dated 23.06.2026, passed by the learned
Member, MACT, Golaghat, Assam in connection with MAC Case No.84/2019 is stayed until further orders subject to the condition that the Insurance Company/applicant deposits 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry of this Court within 6(six) weeks from today.
