ORDER
Date : 09.10.2026
Mr. M.U. Mondal, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that as the period stipulated under Section 8(1) of the Assam Right to Public Services Act, 2012 for disposal of the appeal had not expired inasmuch as the appeal was filed only on 23.09.2026, the petitioner would be well advised to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to file afresh, if necessary.
2. Taking into account the above, the instant writ petition stands closed on withdrawal.
3. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to approach this Court again if the appeal is decided against the petitioner or if the appeal is not decided within the time stipulated under the Assam Right to Public Services Act, 2012.
