ORDER
Date : 08.10.2026 Heard Mr. N.J. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. The petitioner had been granted interim protection by the order dated 17.09.2026, requiring him to appear before the Investigating Authority to participate in the investigation. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the case diary, which indicates that the Page No.# 2/2 nature of injury caused on the alleged victim is simple in nature. In view of the above, I am of the considered opinion that the interim bail granted to the petitioner in the present case on 17.09.2026 can be made absolute. Accordingly, the interim protection granted on 17.09.2026 is hereby made absolute with the same terms and conditions. Anticipatory bail application stands disposed of. Return the case diary.
