ORDER
Date : 08.10.2026 Heard Mr. S.K. Sarkar, learned counsel appearing for the accused-applicant. Also heard Ms. A. Begum, learned Addl. PP for the State Respondent. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail by the accused-applicant in connection with CID P.S. Case No. 10/2025 (G.R. Case No. 2786/2025), registered under Sections 120B/420/468/471 of the IPC, Page No.# 2/2 read with Section 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. A coordinate bench of this court, vide order dated 02.09.2026, has granted the accused-applicant interim pre-arrest bail. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the accused-applicant that in terms of the aforesaid order dated 02.09.2026, the accused-applicant has already appeared before the IO and got his statements recorded. Taking into account the fact that the accused-applicant has appeared before the I.O., and an undertaking has been given by the learned counsel appearing for the accused-applicant that he will cooperate with the investigation and shall remain present before the I.O. as and when called for, this bail application is disposed of by making the interim order dated 29.09.2026 absolute. It is made clear that in the event of non-cooperation with the investigation, the police shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate court for cancellation of his bail. Case Diary to be sent back.
