O R D E R
07.10.2026
Pursuant to the order dated 09.09.2026, Mr. D. Nath, the learned Senior Government Advocate has submitted that the amount payable of Rs.93,191/- which was mentioned in the order dated 09.09.2026 is the amount which has been deducted on account of Income Tax, Labour Cess and VAT which are statutory deductions, and in that regard, has placed before this Court an instruction dated 06.10.2026 which is kept on record and marked with the letter “X”.
2. Considering the above, it is therefore the opinion of this Court that as the Petitioner has already been paid the amount of Rs.12,38,115/- out of Rs.13,31,306/-, the same amounts to sufficient compliance to the order dated 04.09.2019 passed in WP(C) No.4625/2017, and accordingly, the contempt proceedings stands dropped.
3. A copy of the communication dated 06.10.2026 be provided to Mr. P. Sarmah, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner by Mr. D. Nath, the learned Senior Government Advocate.
