Learned counsel Mr. A.J. Saikia is present for the Insurance Company.
2. It is submitted that the learned Trial Court has erred by adding 15% as future prospective. It is submitted that there is every possibility that the connected appeal will succeed.
3. The learned counsel for the applicant has filed this application with prayer to stay the impugned Judgment and Award dated 05.06.2026 passed by the Member, MACT, Barpeta in connection with MAC Case No. 229/20233.
4. I have considered the submissions on behalf of the applicant.
5. In view of the submissions made, operation of the Judgment and Award dated 05.06.2026 passed by the Member, MACT, Barpeta in connection with MAC Case No. 229/2023, is stayed until further orders, subject to the condition that applicant deposits 50% of the awarded amount within four weeks before the Registry of this Court.
