ORDER
Date : 01.10.2026 (K.R. Surana, J)
Mr. P. Upadhayay, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has expired on 19.01.2024. All the respondents are represented. As there are consequences attached to the declaration of the petitioner to be a foreigner which may adversely affect the legal representatives, on 23.09.2026, when the matter was listed, time was granted to the learned counsel for the petitioner to obtain instructions. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the legal representatives do not want to implead themselves as substituted petitioners. He has also produced a copy of the death certificate which is made a part of record. Accordingly, on the death of the petitioner, this writ petition stands abetted. The Registry is directed to return back the records of the Tribunal along with a copy of the order to be made a part of record.
