ORDER
Date : 30-09-2026 Heard Ms. R. Choudhury, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms. S. E. Murtaza, learned counsel for the applicant. This instant interlocutory application has been filed for making some corrections in the cause title in respect of the respondent No. 1 and also for striking out the names of the respondent Nos. 6 and 8.
It is submitted that the respondent Nos. 6 and 8 have expired in the meantime. Allowing the prayer in this regard, the names of the respondent Nos. 6 and 8 be struck off. Further, the applicant/appellant is allowed to amend the cause title in the main appeal with respect to the Respondent No. 1 with “State of Assam, Represented by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of Secondary Education, Dispur, Guwahati-06.” The amended cause title shall be filed, whereupon needful maybe done.
