ORDER

02.09.2026

Heard Mr. SH Sikdar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in view of the SOP dated 02.01.2026 issued by the Ministry of Home, whereby there is a Grievance Redressal Mechanism set up under Section III, the petitioner would be well advised to withdraw the instant writ petition with a liberty to approach the appropriate authority.

3. Taking into account the above, the writ petition stands closed on withdrawal.

4. Before parting with the records, this Court, however, observes that the withdrawal of the instant writ petition shall not preclude or prejudice the petitioner to approach the respondent Nos.4 and 5 by submitting separate complaints as regards the freezing of the petitioner’s bank account. Upon such complaints being submitted before the respondent Nos.4 and 5, the said respondents shall initiate the process of Grievance Redressal Mechanism as stipulated in the Standard Operating Procedure dated 02.01.2026 and take effective steps for bringing the grievance of the petitioner to a logical conclusion.
