ORDER

31.08.2026

Heard Mr. A Sarmah, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner herein has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the Appellate Authorities before whom the appeal has been filed against the order dated 12.03.2026 so that the said appeal is decided at the earliest.

3. It is relevant to take note of that the appeal was filed and sent by post on 04.04.2026 and it appears from the Consignment/MO Tracking report which was received on 07.04.2026. Thereupon the petitioner on 16.05.2026 has filed a writ petition.

4. It is the opinion of this Court that the filing of the instant writ petition is pre-mature and as such this Court is not inclined to issue notice, for which, the writ petition stands closed.

5. This Court, however, observes that the closure of the instant writ petition shall not prejudice the petitioner in the appeal proceedings so filed before the respondent No.2 as well as to approach this Court after a reasonable period, should the appeal not be disposed.

6. This Court before parting with the records directs the respondent No.2, for whom, Ms. U Das, the learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate appears to take up the appeal of the petitioner and dispose of the same at its earliest convenience.
