ORDER

Date : 28.08.2026 Heard Ms. P. Talukdar, learned cousel appearing for the applicant. Also heard Mr. A. K. Ghosh, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2. By way of this interlocutory application, the applicant seeks striking out of the name of Sri Bhabesh Deka, who has been wrongly impleaded as respondent/contemnor No. 3 in the connected contempt petition, being Cont.Cas(C)/178/2026, and, in his place, seeks impleadment of Sri Bikash Das, Director of Pension, Assam, Housefed Complex, Dispur, Guwahati-6, as respondent/contemnor No. 3. It appears that, while filing the contempt petition, the post of Director of Pension, Assam, was incorrectly shown as being held by Sri Bhabesh Deka. It is stated that the said post is presently held by Sri Bikash Das. Accordingly, the present interlocutory application has been filed seeking correction of the name of respondent/contemnor No. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon perusal of the materials available on record, it appears that Sri Bhabesh Deka, Director of Pension, Assam, Housefed Complex, Dispur, Guwahati-6, has been wrongly impleaded as respondent/contemnor No. 3, in place of Sri Bikash Das, who is presently holding the said post. Accordingly, the name of Sri Bhabesh Deka, Director of

Pension, Assam, Housefed Complex, Dispur, Guwahati-6, stands struck off from the array of respondents/contemnors as respondent/contemnor No. 3. Sri Bikash Das, Director of Pension, Assam, Housefed Complex, Dispur, Guwahati-6, is hereby impleaded as respondent/contemnor No.

3. The interlocutory application stands disposed of. Let an amended cause title be filed before the Registry for doing the needful. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
