Ms. R. S. Deuri, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have now been appointed as the Anganwadi Workers in Jartaluk Anganwadi Centre and Thalkuchi Anganwadi Centre respectively, in terms of the approval given by the Joint Director-cum-Council Head of Department, Woman and Child Development, BTC, Kokrajhar vide Communication dated 06.08.2026 and, therefore, the petitioners no longer would like to press the matter. Mr. D. Borah, learned State Counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 3 and Mr. A. Atreya, learned Standing Counsel, BTC, agrees to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners. Accordingly, the matter stands disposed of as not pressed. The Communication dated 06.08.2026, produced by the learned counsel for the petitioners, is kept on record and marked as “X” for identification.
