Heard Mr. M. Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel for the Higher Education Department, representing the sole respondent. It is submitted by Mr. Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner that Page No.# 2/2 the order dated 22.03.2023 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 7129/2019 has been complied with and an amount of Rs. 2,10,537/- has been refunded to the petitioner. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed. The copy of the order dated 04.10.2024 issued by the Joint Secretary to the Government Assam, Higher Education Department is kept on record.
