ORDER
24.08.2026
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today on call. When the writ petition was listed previously on 29.05.2026 and 12.06.2026, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on those two occasions also. In the Order dated 12.06.2026, it was observed that if on the next date of listing, the petitioner would remain unrepresented, appropriate orders would be passed. Mr. S.S. Roy, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent nos. 1 & 4 is present. In view of non-representation on behalf of the petitioner for three consecutive occasions on 29.05.2026, 12.06.2026 and 24.08.2026, this Court is persuaded to take a view that the petitioner is no longer interested to pursue this writ petition and therefore, the writ petition is dismissed due to non-prosecution.
