Date : 12-08-2026 Heard Mr. AR Shome, learned counsel for the applicant, who submits that by filing this application, the applicant seeks impleadment of Sri Jayant Narlikar, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department as respondent No. 2 in the connected contempt petition, since he is the present incumbent in the said post. The learned counsel submits that his impleadment is Page No.# 2/2 necessary for effective compliance of the Court’s order. In view of above, the prayer for impleadment as sought for is allowed.
