Heard Mr. J. Hatimuria, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Mr. P. K. Borah, learned counsel for the alleged contemnor, by placing a copy of the communication dated 03.06.2026, issued by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, submits that the order of this Court dated 12.01.2024, passed in WP(C) No. 58/2024, has been duly complied with.
Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
Needless to observe that, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision taken by the authority, he may avail appropriate remedy as may be permissible under the law.
