ORDER
05.08.2026 (M. Zothankhuma, J)
1. Heard Ms. L. Devi, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the applicant, who Page No.# 2/2 submits that there is a delay of 696 days in filing the appeal against the conviction of the applicant under Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
2. Ms. A. Begum, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and Mr. N.J. Das, learned Amicus Curiae for the respondent no.2 submit that they have got no objection to the delay being condoned.
3. Accordingly, the delay of 696 days is condoned.
4. Registry to register the connected appeal and list the same.
5. The I.A. is accordingly disposed of.
