In view of the re-opening of the Silpukhuri Park, the grievance of the petitioners has been redressed. Today, all that the petitioners have prayed for is that a direction be issued to the effect that the public park should be looked after well and be prevented from any deterioration of any kind. We hope and trust that this public park shall be maintained and kept in a good condition so that it proves to be the lungs for the city of Guwahati. With the above observation, this Public Interest Litigation is closed.
