ORDER
11.03.2026 This I.A. has been filed with a prayer for impleadment of Punjab National Bank, represented by the Managing Director, the Chief Executive Officer, and the
Zonal Manager of Punjab National Bank as respondent Nos. 6, 7 and 8 respectively. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents in the writ petition, namely United Bank of India and its instrumentalities, does not object to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant, since the affairs of United Bank of India have now been taken over by Punjab National Bank. Accordingly, this I.A. is allowed. The opposite party Nos. 6, 7 and 8 in the I.A., namely: Punjab National Bank, represented by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Head Office, Plot No. 4, Sector-10, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075; The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Punjab National Bank, Head Office, Plot No. 4, Sector-10, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075; and The Zonal Manager, Punjab National Bank, UBI Building, Hem Barua Road, Panbazar, Guwahati – 781001 are directed to be impleaded as party respondents in WP(C)/1931/2014.
