1. Perusal of ASC Records (South) letter No 13804426/CLAIM(OBSN)/FP dt 10.09.2024 (Annexure A/10) reveals that the Senior Record Officer has directed the Applicant to furnish the details of the children born out of 2nd wife of Late Sep Roopa Ram and no objection certificate for grant of Family Pension in favour of the children born to 2nd wife through an Affidavit for the purpose of deciding the case for grant of Family Pension in favour of the Applicant. The applicant submits that she is the legally wedded wife of Late Sep Roopa Ram and she has no knowledge / information of the children borne to alleged 2nd wife of her husband and she cannot submit an affidavit or any information about it.

2. Considering the fact that the Applicant is the legally wedded wife of Late Sep Roopa Ram, the requirement of filing additional affidavit of the details of children borne out of the wedlock of Late Sep RoopaRam with the said 2nd wife is not considered necessary and the Respondents are directed to decide the case for grant of Family Pension to the Applicant expeditiously as per their rules / regulations on the subject.

3. The OA is disposed off accordingly.
