ORDER

28.09.2026

01. Petitioners, through the medium of this petition, initially sought quashing of FIR No. 355/2024 dated 08.08.2024 registered at Police Station, Rajouri for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 64(1)/333/49 BNS and also FIR No. 254/2024 dated 22.06.2024 registered at Police Station, Rajouri for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 452, 323, 504/506 IPC and the consequential proceedings thereunder, on various grounds.

02. Leaned counsel for the petitioners submits that on 07.10.2024, he had made a statement at Bar that the petitioners have no grievance with regard to impugned FIR No. 254/2024 registered against them and, as such, the relief to the extent of FIR No. 254/2024 was not pressed.

03. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that, as per the status report filed by the official respondents, in view of the statement of the complainant, namely, Kanta Devi @ Pooja Sharma W/O Sh. Satpal Sharma, R/O Chaprain Tehsil and District, Rajouri, during investigation, this case has been closed as not admitted, as the complainant/alleged victim had deposed before the Investigating Officer that due to some dispute over parking of the vehicle at the petrol pump owned by one of the petitioners, namely, Ajaz Choudhary, she had made a complaint against the petitioners, however, later they entered into a compromise.

04. The complainant/private respondent No. 6 was represented earlier by Mr. Z. A. Qazi, Advocate, who had been directed vide order dated 11.02.2026 to report instructions in the matter and file objections, if any.

CRMC No. 649/2024

However, neither there is any representation on behalf of the respondent No. 6 nor any objections have been filed on her behalf.

05. In view of the case, having been closed, as not admitted, after due investigation, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of accordingly, along with application(s). Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.

06. The Investigating Agency is permitted to lay final report, for the consideration of the competent court, who shall proceed in the matter, without being influenced by the observations of this Court, while passing this order.
