ORDER

14.09.2026 Learned counsel for the appellants, after arguing for a while, seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the instant appeal with liberty to pursue the matter before the competent authority. Needless to say that, in case, the appellants approach the concerned revenue officer for correction of girdawari entry of kharif 1971, as is provided by the learned writ Court, the same shall be disposed of by the revenue officer concerned in accordance with law after holding proper enquiry and affording adequate opportunity of hearing to both the sides. We, however, provide that, in case, such application is made, the same shall be brought to its logical end within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order along with formal application is presented before the revenue officer concerned. Till the matter aforesaid is decided, the parties shall remain in status quo.
