Perusal of the record reveals that notice was issued to the respondents on 22.12.2016. Till date respondents have not been served as the steps for effecting service upon respondents have not been taken. Today also, when the case was called up, none appears on behalf of the petitioner, which suggests that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the present petition. Thus, the present petition is, accordingly, dismissed in default for appearance and for non-prosecution.
