1. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that respondent No. 2, during the pendency of the appeal, is stated to have died on 30.12.2017 and the other respondents are stated to have been served.
2. Registry report also reveals that notices have been served upon respondent Nos. 1 & 3 to 5. However, they have neither appeared nor filed any objections to the application for condonation of delay.
3. For the reasons assigned in the application for condonation of delay and submissions made at the bar, the same is allowed and delay of 242 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Crl LP(S) No. 08/2026
4. This is an application, seeking leave to file the appeal against the judgment of acquittal dated 06.05.2025 passed by the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Anti-Corruption, Jammu in file No. 23/2011 PS VOJ, (now ACB) Challan titled, “State Vs. Riaz Ahmed & Ors.”.
