ORDER

21.09.2026

01. Notice in the present case came to be issued on 05.09.2022, and respondents were directed to maintain status of the petitioner as skilled worker (Computer Operator) and pay him the wages accordingly so long as he serves in the Department.

04. Thereafter, neither the petitioner nor his counsel has turned up, despite filing of the reply on behalf of the respondents on 07.02.2024.

05. After issuance of notice and obtaining an order for maintenance of status quo with regard to his status, the petitioner has either remained absent or has been represented by proxy counsel. It appears that the petitioner is not interested anymore in further prosecution of this petition.

06. Hence, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution, along with connected application(s).

07. Interim direction, if any, subsisting shall stand vacated.
