ORDER

02-09-2026

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has very fairly submitted that Chowkidari Rules provide a maximum age of 60 years up to which the Chowkidar can continue. The petitioner has already crossed the said age limit and at present he is 68 years of age.

2. The petitioner has no right to continue beyond the age of 60 years. Therefore, this Court does not find it necessary to determine the issues involved in the present petition.

3. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of along with connected CMs.
