ORDER

21.07.2026

1. This Court is not inclined to grant any indulgence so as to upset the processes issued by the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pulwama for the purpose of securing the attendance of the petitioner in connection with the execution of a lok adalat award.

2. However, in the interest of justice, this Court directs the petitioner to present himself before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pulwama on 27th July, 2026.

3. This Court urges the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pulwama to afford one opportunity to the petitioner to manage, at his own level, sale of his house property which has been valued so that the petitioner is able to generate the requisite financial resources for liquidating the legal liability. In case the petitioner fails to do so, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, 141 Suppl-I

Pulwama shall then be at liberty to resort to coercive measures for enforcing the liability.

4. Accordingly, the petition- CM(M) No. 298/2026 stands disposed of.
