ORDER
21.05.2026
1. Petitioner, through the medium of this petition, has challenged Order No. DIVCOM-“K”/126/2024 dated 06.05.2024, passed by respondent No. 2- Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Srinagar, whereby the petitioner was detained under the PITNDPS Act, 1988.
2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the impugned order had been executed on 08.05.2024 and, as such, the impugned order has outlived its maximum life of one year, rendering the instant petition infructuous. Seemingly that is the reason for continuous non- representation on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, as infructuous.
