CORAM:
HON’BLE MR JUSTICE M. A. CHOWDHARY, JUDGE.
(ORDER) 16.04.2026
Through the medium of this petition, the petitioner has challenged Order No. DMS/PSA/71/2023 dated 28.10.2023 issued by Respondent No.2-District Magistrate, Pulwama, whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be detained under Section (8) of the J&K Public Safety Act, to prevent him from the activities detrimental to Public Order. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the impugned order of detention dated 28.10.2023, executed on 31.10.2026, with the maximum period of two years has outlived its life and the instant petition has been rendered infructuous. On the above factual backdrop, this petition is disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
