(ORDER) 09.04.2026 Through the medium of this petition, the petitioner has challenged Order No. DIVCOM-“K”/04/2025 dated 16.01.2025 issued by Respondent No.2-Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be detained under Section 3 of the Prevention of Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1998.
Learned counsel for the parties submits that the impugned order of detention dated 16.01.2025, executed on 19.01.2025 with the maximum period of one year has already outlived its life. On the above factual backdrop, this petition is disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
