This is an application filed by the petitioner seeking restoration of the writ petition which was dismissed for non-prosecution on 31.03.2026.
In the application, it has been submitted that learned counsel for the petitioner met with an accident on the said date as a result of which, he could not appear before the court. In fact, the learned counsel has appeared before the court with his right arm plastered, which confirms the fact that the counsel had met with an accident.
In view of the aforesaid reason assigned in the application, the same is allowed and the main writ petition is restored to its original number.
List the main matter for further proceedings on 06.07.2026.
