The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhurwa (Hatia) P.S. Case No.13 of 2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1635 of 2026 (S.T. Case No.506 of 2026) registered for the offences punishable under Section 308(6) and 351(4) of the B.N.S., 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner, through WhatsApp call, introduced himself as Rahul Singh, demanded extortion of Rs.2,00,00,000/- and when the informant refused to pay the extortion money, the petitioner and the co-accused persons sent him two video clips of shooting of someone by his gang members on refusal of the payment and also threatened him to kill on non- payment of the extortion money. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in this case only on the basis of his confession made in another case of similar nature but no Test Identification Parade has been conducted in respect of the petitioner, in connection with this case, as mentioned in paragraph- 03 of the Supplementary Affidavit dated 29.09.2026, yet charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner but no witness has been examined as yet. It is then submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and that he will not annoy or disturb the witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 12.05.2026 as has been mentioned in para-22 of the instant bail application. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail.

Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-VI, Ranchi in connection with Dhurwa (Hatia) P.S.
