The learned Spl.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State by referring to the communication received from the Superintendent, Central Jail, Ghaghidih, Jamshedpur vide Memo No. 7332 dated 29.09.2026, has submitted that the appellants of this case, namely, Deo Das Maity and Rukmini Devi have already been released from custody on 07.04.2026 and 15.08.2024, respectively after completion of their sentence awarded to them.
2. The aforesaid communication dated 29.09.2026 be kept on record.
3. The learned counsel for the appellants has submitted that since the appellants have already been released, he does not want to press this appeal.
4. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed as not pressed.
5. I.A.(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
