It has been submitted by the counsel for the appellant as well as the counsel for the State that the appellant- Nimai Chandra Mahto has expired on 21.11.2024 during the treatment at PJMCH, Dumka.

From the letter No. 3591/2026 dated 29.9.2026 sent by the Superintendent, Central Jail, Dumka, it also appears that the sole appellant has expired on 21.11.2024 during the treatment at PJMCH, Dumka.

Accordingly, this appeal stands abated. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
