1. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State by referring to the communication received from the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan, Central Jail, Hazaribag vide memo no. 5917 dated 27.9.2026, has submitted that the sole appellant of this case, namely, Md. Imtiyaz Qureshi @ Md. Israil Qureshi, has already been released from custody on 03.9.2022 after completion of sentence awarded to him.
2. The aforesaid communication dated 27.9.2026 be kept on record.
3. The learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that since the appellant has already been released, he does not want to press this appeal.
4. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed as not pressed.
5. I.A.(s), if any, also stands dismissed.
6. Let Lower Court Records be sent back to the learned trial court.
