---------- 06/ 28.09.2026 The instant application has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing the order dated 01.08.2025, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Markham College of Commerce, Hazaribag to B.S.K. College, Maithan, Dhanbad under Vinod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University, Dhanbad.

2. A counter-affidavit has been filed wherein it has been specifically stated that the transfer of this petitioner was not inter-university transfer, rather, he has been sent back to his parent department, in pursuance of the 2026:JHHC:29357

directions issued by the Director, Higher Education, Department of Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Jharkhand, Ranchi vide letters dated 14.02.2019 and 29.05.2025.

3. During pendency of this writ application, the petitioner joined the transferred place at B.S.K. College, Maithan, Dhanbad. As such, this Court is not going to interfere with the transfer order.

4. However, since the petitioner has raised a specific ground relying upon the order passed by this Court in the case of Baidyanath Thakur Vs. Ranchi University, Ranchi & Ors., reported in 2005 (1) JCR 414 (Jhr.)., especially para-29, he is at liberty to approach the concerned respondents, if so advised, ventilating his grievances.

5. As a result, the instant application stands dismissed.
