For the Petitioner : Mr. Aman Ali, Advocate For the State : Ms. Shweta Singh, A. P. P.

……

03/19.08.2026 This Cr. M.P. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for modification of the order dated 20.02.2026 passed in B. A. No. 250 of 2026 by this Court by which Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2025 has been typed instead of Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2024.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that due to typographical error, in the 3rd line of para-1 and in the 8th line of para- 9 of the order dated 20.02.2026 passed by this Court in B. A. No. 250 of 2026, it has been typed as ‘Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2025’ instead of ‘Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2024’ and as such, the order dated 20.02.2026 passed in B. A. No. 250 of 2026 by this Court may be modified.

3. Learned counsel for the State raised no objection.

4. Heard learned counsels for the parties.

5. It transpires that due to typographical error on the part of the P.A. concerned, in the 3rd line of para-1 and in the 8th line of para- 9 of the order dated 20.02.2026 passed by this Court in B. A. No. 250 of 2026, it has been typed as ‘Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2025’ instead of ‘Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2024’.

2026:JHHC:25054

6. Under the circumstances, in the 3rd line of para-1 and in the 8th line of para- 9 of the order dated 20.02.2026 passed by this Court in B. A. No. 250 of 2026, it should be read as ‘Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2024’ instead of ‘Chutia P. S. Case No. 282 of 2025’.

7. Thus, the order dated 20.02.2026 passed by this Court in B. A. No. 250 of 2026 is rectified and modified accordingly.

8. Accordingly, Cr. M. P. No. 1712 of 2026 is allowed and stands disposed of.
