---------- 02/12.08.2026 This Cr.M.P. has been filed for restoration of Cr.Appeal (S.J.) No. 524 of 2023, which stood dismissed on 02.09.2025 for not removing the defects in terms of order dated 18.08.2025 passed by this Court.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appellant is in custody and this Cr.M.P. has been filed through the High Court Legal Services Committee, Ranchi. It is further submitted that due to inadvertence the defects could not be removed within time and as a result the Cr. Appeal (S.J.) No. 524 of 2023 stood dismissed due to non- compliance of order dated 18.08.2025 passed by this Court and hence, the Cr. Appeal (S.J.) No. 524 of 2023 may be restored and this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition may be allowed.
3. No objection has been raised on behalf of the State.
4. Having heard learned counsel for both sides and in view of the averments made in Paragraph

4 and 5 of this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition and considering that the appellant is in jail custody and this Cr.M.P. has been filed through the High Court Legal Services Committee, Ranchi, prayer for restoration of Cr.Appeal (S.J.) No. 524 of 2023 is allowed.
5. Accordingly, the Cr.Appeal (S.J.) No. 524 of 2023 is restored to its original file and this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 653 of 2026 is allowed.
