ORAL JUDGMENT
1. Case called out.
2. Today, the matter is listed for admission. The issue relates to the interest awarded by the Tribunal.
3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that in a connected matter in MFA.No.7538/2016 c/w MFA.No.3106/2017, dated 19.01.2026, the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court has fixed the liability upon the Insurance Company. Therefore, the same may be taken into consideration and the matter may be disposed off in accordance with law. Additionally, learned counsel for the appellant points out that the Co-ordinate Bench has reduced the rate of interest from 9% per annum to 6% per annum, which may also be taken into consideration.
4. Having gone through the ration laid down in the judgment rendered by my learned Brother in
HC-KAR
MFA.No.7538/2016 c/w MFA.No.3106/2017, I concur that this appeal may be disposed off accordingly.
5. The Registry is directed to transmit the records to the Tribunal forthwith.
