ORAL ORDER

The present petition seeks a limited relief of directing the trial Court to expedite the disposal of O.S. No.1221/2025.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners invites the attention of this Court to the order passed in MFA No.1404/2025 dated 04.03.2025, wherein the trial Court was directed to dispose of the suit within a period of nine months from 17.03.2025. Learned counsel submits that the said period of nine months expired in December 2025; however, the trial Court has not yet disposed of the suit.

3. Considering the limited prayer made in the writ petition, issuance of notice to the respondents is unnecessary and, accordingly, the same is dispensed with.

4. Considering the submissions made, the trial Court, in the light of the directions issued by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in MFA No.1404/2025 dated 04.03.2025, is directed to expedite the proceedings and dispose of the suit within a period of three months.

HC-KAR

5. It is submitted that the suit is presently at the stage of cross-examination of the defendants' evidence. It is open to the trial Court to conclude the proceedings even before the expiry of the aforesaid period, subject to the cooperation of the parties.

With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
