ORAL ORDER

1. The present petition is filed with a limited prayer seeking a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of O.S. No.1417/2015 pending on the file of the II Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Anekal.

2. Considering the limited prayer, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

HC-KAR

3. The petitioner instituted the suit for specific performance in the year 2015. A perusal of the order sheet placed on record indicates that the suit is presently at the stage of passing orders on the interlocutory application. The recording of evidence has not yet commenced. There are no justifiable reasons for such delay in the progress of the suit, even after a lapse of 11 years.

4. In the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court is inclined to entertain the present petition. The Trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit, by avoiding unnecessary adjournments, within a period of one year from the date of placing a copy of this order before the Trial Court on the next date of hearing.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
